Connection problems

The device was initially unable to transmit a WiFi signal to connect to the facility; I had to reset twice while holding down the backlit button before it finally decided to broadcast the WiFi setup. After adding the device to my Wi-Fi network, it would not accept airplay from my phone. I may have stumbled upon a broken one, but it looks like this setup process wasn't well thought out. There are some design issues with this device's power supply that also seem counterintuitive.
