We got a new Pitbull puppy and we knew we needed to keep him (and our home) safe when we were away. We also have a large dog and a small dog, so we fenced off our kitchen. Gates and expansions worked well; The extra height prevents them from even thinking about jumping over it. The gate and extension are strong enough to withstand a bump if they try. Installation required a minor change to the flooring and we installed the clips into the wall covering. It looks beautiful and works great. When measuring, make sure you account for the overlap required to connect the gate and extensions together. I had to order an extra because I didn't account for the round.
