I've been burned by some NVMe SSDs in the past where they were designed with a high speed cache chip in front and then a bunch of slower chips behind. They appear fast at first, but then drop from >400 MB/s to below 80 MB/s under continuous load. It's not one of those SSDs. The ones I bought support sequential write speeds in excess of 400MB/s.
