I read a lot of reviews about people being confused about the combination lock. I'm not sure what the problem is. It's very simple, just follow the instructions. I bought this for my friend's b-day. It's sturdy and makes a nice gift. My only criticism is the interior of the box which is rather small so you can only put some pieces of jewelry and a few tiny keepsakes in there. Also, you can't put anything bulky at or near the center because it would block the locking mechanism and you won't be able to properly close and lock the box. All in all, though, it's a nice product.
