Review on Americanflat 13X19 Black Composite Wood Picture Frame W/Shatter Resistant Glass & Hanging Hardware by Renee Walters

I was recommended to use these frames for a series of prints I have because of the wood frame, how sturdy they were and the "slick" look they present. I was not disappointed in that aspect. It was easy to replace the default print with my prints and then add the hanging material and get it on my wall no problem. The packaging that surrounded each frame was beyond what I expected. Each frame was individually wrapped in styrofoam and then shrink wrapped. Felt they took protecting my frames serious.Reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because all the frames and glass was pretty dirty, like it sat in a dirt warehouse and it rained a few times. Then the glass had a thin layer of grim on it and had to clean them prior to hanging on the wall. Not a big deal compared to buying a frame in a brick and mortar store. Also out of the 4 frames I ordered, one glass was shattered. Didn't hear it as it was packaged properly and no damage to the packaging, but once I opened it up, I poked myself with a chunk of the glass. I don't know if it was damaged prior to shipping or during, but I am going through the process to return it and reorder a new one.Spite the price and the damaged glass, I would still order more of these frames from this vender for DIY framing.UPDATE: I did a return on the damaged glass, the return process was extremely easy and money was returned once UPS scanned the product. Then I used the money again and bought a new one. Didn't lose one cent! When I received the replacement, it was as expected. Very pleased with this side of the process.
