For the price compared to the competition this is a good deal and works as advertised. Btw I realized too late that they sell a half mile range product for the same price. The most obvious design flaw is that you have to unscrew the mounting bracket when the motion detector battery runs low. It is not possible to simply separate the motion sensor from the mount. Rather than simply detaching the motion sensor from the mounting bracket, you must unscrew the mounting bracket from the mounting location and then unscrew the mounting bracket from the motion sensor. Idiocy. Another design flaw is that when the motion sensor is triggered, there's no way of knowing it's been triggered unless you're nearby and can't hear the alarm. Why not leave the lights on so you can see the alarm went off? This would be especially helpful during the installation phase. I have no way of disabling the alarm and at the same time being close to the receiver to know that it has received the signal. These theme files can be easily repaired, so it's really frustrating. However, it works as advertised and is a good price.
