Review on Fel Pro BS 40612 Rear Engine: High-performance solution for efficient propulsion by Will Porter

For those of you hoping that this gasket will replace the worn groove on your crankshaft journal on the old single lip seal, the double lip feature is NOT very broad. I would say 5mm between the lips. The groove on my crankpin is about this wide and I'm hoping it doesn't leak when installed as there is no way to install a bushing kit on this neck. There are several other double lip seals for this design, not sure if they are wider but the manufacturer would be wiser to recognize this discrepancy.
