Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Dritz 3085 Mark-B-Gone Pen: Reliable Fine Point Pen for Easy Blue Mark Removal by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 2 out of 5

NO LEAVES TO WASH AFTER USE OF WATER!

I am so disappointed with this marker pen! I embroider by hand, and even though I put distilled water (using QTip) on the lines, when I'm done sewing, the blue color WILL RETURN IMMEDIATELY AFTER DRYING! Now I've tried applying water at least 5-6 times and it gets lighter but still comes back. Check out the attached photos to see how my fabric looks after these REPEAT attempts to get rid of the color. Look closely at the blue pen line next to my GREEN embroidery stitches to see what I'm talking about. Based on other embroiderers' comments on transfer pens, I'm better off using a micron pen with a thin line and just stitching over it. I'm going this route because this "water-soluble" pen just DOESN'T WORK! Sorry I hate giving bad reviews but I think I should be honest about the product's performance and at least WARN other potential buyers about this issue.

It's a bit pricey but work well for marking fabrics.
