With a little wiggling, straighten out.
The left and right brackets align with the headlight brackets and you will see the prongs where they line up and gently push the last lip in by wiggling and pressing and snapping (no tape). seems to sit pretty flat on my 2015 jk. gives the front some contrast to stand out.
