This is an amazing pencil sharpener! Don't chew on pencils, but leave them clean and neatly sharpened. I love having three different sharpened tips, especially having two great grandchildren who love making "heavy" pencil colors that are quick to break the sharpest, most pointed tip. It's a lot smaller than I expected, which is a good thing because it's a lot easier to store away when not in use. The container is fairly easy to empty; however, wood chips are sometimes more difficult to remove from the blade area. I just use a toothpick to remove shavings from this area. I really like that it can be plugged into an outlet - batteries are often so annoying. I really appreciate the kid-friendly feature - it will stop when a part has been removed so little fingers don't get stuck in the blade. Very durable and well made, I am completely satisfied with this sharpener. I highly recommend it.
