Sennheiser quality at a Sennheiser price. I love it. I just wish I could find a sound card with a decent side effects mixer. You don't hear what you say. (It's not the headset's fault. They work great.) I like the mute feature, although I sometimes forget it's on and talk to myself for a minute or two. Pleasantly soft ear pads. Not too hot, but they're leather and they're next to your skin. The construction is solid, but I would still treat it with respect. I had no trouble loosening the screws as others have reported. Swivels make it comfortable, but donning with one hand is more difficult, not impossible. the sound quality is great. I don't notice any emphasis in the answer. It even shines across the sound spectrum. (not super bass or tinny). I use for games and sound. They work fine in my 3D games with a respectable image, I think it has more to do with the sound card/CPU. Don't take them if you don't like people sneaking up on you. They block out ambient noise well. I also want a Game One set so I can play and hear the people around me.
