When switched on, the controller only smells burnt after 6 months.
fan/light control unit purchased June 2021 12/15/21 noticed a burning smell from the switch when the light was on. The smell stopped when the switch was turned off, and checking the wire connections showed no signs of a short. The junction box smells of burning.
