Really refreshes the look and feel of the headlights on my 2006 Tacoma, but not easy to adjust

Found a youtube video on changing the Tacoma headlights, very helpful. Headlights are shipped without instructions. In particular, there is a screw hidden at the rear under the right and left fenders (one for each headlight) which is difficult to access and requires partial dismantling of the fender trim. After they were installed I tried out the light and found that the beams were very misaligned. I went back to youtube and found some instructions but it is very difficult to align these headlight knots. After a few tries with taped patterns on the fence and garage door, I seem to have achieved a workable alignment, but I'm not sure if that's right or how close I should be. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who hasn't taken apart some of their car or truck body parts and who doesn't have at least a fairly well stocked tool box. Perhaps a better approach than me was to focus the old assemblies on the fence or garage door, mark the top and center of each joist, then replace the assemblies and align the new ones with the tape marks on the fence. The only real plus is that you're spending about $100 for two, not a mechanic, dealer, or body shop. By the way, don't forget to get some spare plastic fasteners to replace the ones you damaged by removing the front grille or that have fallen off over the years (9mm auto press clips, rivet holders, fender holders, bumper holders) . Revain has them, but the local auto parts store didn't have what I needed.
