Review on Fractal Design Focus G - High Airflow ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 2x Fractal Design Silent LL Series 120mm White LED Fans, USB 3.0, Window Side Panel - Blue by Micha Poklkowski ᠌

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

Bought to assemble a computer for my schoolgirl daughter. She wanted exclusively white and so that with a window and lights. Of the ones on sale, this one seemed the most acceptable. Because of this so-called. "self-isolation" had to focus only on pictures and reviews on the "Internet". The product leaves an ambiguous impression. It can be seen that it was designed by people who understand a lot about "case building", but their TOR they probably had was this: "Make a universal case for the house with the possibilities of modding, installing dropsy, a bunch of seats for fans, dust filters, and the cost was so from the rootless Chinese. The main miscalculation that spoils everything is the catastrophically small thickness of the metal. I wanted to write like the "Chinese" for 1.5 thousand, but here it's even worse. I have seen many Chinese cases and only one of them had comparable metal quality. The rest were better. The geometry of this case was already missing when it was taken out of the box - it stood on three legs out of four. The bottom and top panel naturally wrinkle from a light touch. By the way, the top panel was concave inward from the very beginning - probably due to its own weight :). The source of the problem with screw fasteners is still the same - you can’t cut a thread in the roofing iron . But the fun begins when the system is assembled and the fans are running: there is still that rattling sound! I solved this problem by reducing the fan speed to the minimum, since the cooler for my processor is monstrously redundant + some work as a tinsmith. However, nothing will help if you have a vibrating hard drive and especially if you are still using a DVD drive. In this case, it may seem that the case is about to fall apart. Complete valves, I must admit, are better than all those that I have seen in cases before. Relatively quiet. But only relatively. At 700 rpm, the rustling of the bushings is perfectly audible. And this is on new ones. What will happen in three or four months?

On 4/10, there are nicer cases for this price. But undeniably easy to assemble.

a little more expensive than analogues, but it's worth it, attention to detail pleases

Its pros: beautiful, thoughtful, quiet Its cons: only two places for hard drives
