This product greatly improves safety when towing and I recommend it to anyone looking to improve the safety of their rig. Installation on my 1996 C3500 was fairly easy (someone had already drilled holes in the frame for this) and took a couple of hours. Anyone can install it if you have: a set of deep nuts, a ratchet, a drill with metal cutting nozzles and a few hours of your time. My truck has a standard ride height and I didn't have to lift it up to put them in. Works great and is very affordable compared to other options. I've thought about just making a stabilizer bar, but this is MUCH BETTER since it actually levels your truck and not just controls sway.
