This product has about 4.5 stars. As mentioned on other posters, the look is less shiny and more of a powdery grey. I didn't care since they went in the closet. Slight downgrade for 1 out of 9 brackets that have a slight bend in the shoulder where the shelf rests. Overall well made, handsome, heavy and muscular, and sticking out about 22 inches from the wall. I haven't found anything like this in the big stores. In terms of weight, they have vacuums, wipes, and canned food, so not a lot of weight. The holes are the right size, the offset of the top holes is good. I don't know what you're going to attach to these braces, but a 3" lag screw seems overkill to me if you really want to load them.
