Review on Deepcool Redhat CPU cooler, white/red/black by Wiktor Uhlig ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

An almost ideal product, if the consumer would not overpay 500 for a super-sophisticated package. The lack of a special screwdriver also spoils the impression. I used to be a supporter of the cheaper Zalman CNPS10X Performa +, but now the prices have almost leveled off, the fan on the Zalman is still noisy, the installation is just as stupid, and the extra red cap heat pipe is only a plus!

Pros
  • Great cooler for the money! Moreover, it has an advantage over its predecessor Deepcool Lucifer V1, because. heat pipes are located here more logically, most of them in the area of higher air pressure (see photo, the fan air flow in the photo is designed to blow from the bottom up). Although maybe in Lucifer V2 this injustice has already been corrected. I put it on the i7 8700k processor (without overclocking yet). Paste Noktua NT-H1. With the maximum load of all 6 cores, the maximum temperature of one of the cores reached only 63 degrees. The average for all cores is 57-59 degrees, And this is with a fan speed of 800 rpm! When you can't hear it at all! It should be noted that the radiator has a very convenient installation!
Cons
  • Not very smooth sole. Of course there is a mirror, but circular irregularities from the cutter are noticeable on it. But in fairness, this did not affect the result of cooling. There is no long Phillips screwdriver in the kit, which can greatly spoil the mood from installation, but a screwdriver is required! It would be better if instead of a pretentious and fancy box, they put a screwdriver in the kit. The fan covers a couple of memory slots. But the ribs are high enough, so ordinary modules fit without any problems. Be sure to measure the width of your case before buying. The fan is very big. And if you still lift it up to place a large RAM module under it, then there may be a clear problem with closing the side cover of the case.
