A good option but be prepared for some small issues with older systems. If your computer is old, be sure to check if it can recognize the PCI storage device as a boot drive. This wasn't an option for my old tower, but I still found it useful to be able to install applications on this drive instead of the SATA SSD C: drive. Inside the box is a cute little screwdriver that will do for many. While this can be used if you have a good jeweler's screwdriver, you'll probably want to use this instead. The tiny screw that secures the drive to the card is easy to lose. I almost made it - wow! There is a small spacer ring that is used to mount discs shorter than 80mm but is not required for full size discs. My kit included full-length, low-profile metal backplates that are attached to the card with screws. Good quality and intuitive. The package includes a heatsink and thermal pads to ensure good heat dissipation. There are also "silicone bands" for attaching the heatsink. Be sure to install the heatsink on the drive BEFORE installing it. I chose this option because M.2 NVMe drives tend to get hot and the heatsink needs to dissipate excess heat. Heat seems to be the companion of these fast rides. Overall I am happy with this adapter. It gave me what I wanted to speed up my old desktop and get more life out of it. It's better than some others I've seen. That's why I give this adapter card 5 stars.
