Pictures only, no written instructions

This is a half inch scale so if you are used to working with a 1 inch scale it will be a bit difficult. There are no written instructions at all. Booklet with pictures for the steps, but it's not always clear from the pictures how something is connected, for example if the sides go to something on the outside or the back. It's also a big problem to get the right details, especially when They use beads for some elements, and when assembling the structure yourself, it's not so easy to understand what goes where. So I ended up matching the wallpaper pieces and flooring with wood. I ended up finding a youtube video for this particular set and it helped some with the build as the parts were closer to the pictures and it was easier for me to tell how to put some things together. The wood is carved fairly accurately and is very smooth. Major advantage. The graphics are really nice. I ended up replacing some of my own consumables simply because in some cases I preferred what I had to what was sent in the kit, but it wasn't strictly necessary. I didn't like the light green color for the sofa and ended up using a tiny calico print I had in my patchwork supplies. I will say that I have over 40 years of experience making miniatures and this has been a challenge for me. Puzzles to assemble on the go. So if you don't have any experience making miniatures, it's probably best to find another kit from one of the American manufacturers that has good written instructions. Many of them are also great if you want to call someone who can help you with any issues you may have. The kit has most of what you need including a knife, glue, screwdriver, scissors and tweezers and lights to electrify it. The one I have does not include a plexiglass dust cover. I would buy more of these but with the understanding that I'm pretty much on my own or I'll have to search ahead to see if there's a video of someone already putting it together. When I'm done it will be really nice I think and I think I will like the finished room.
