A real lifesaver at a great** price.

I bought these for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra about a month after receiving the car. I know our summer rains can be a really messy event and winter in New York is a wild card. So I wouldn't risk a new car that I knew would be traded in a few years. and back is very easy to install. On the driver's side, however, is a small gimmick. The Elantra has the gas tank and trunk releases on the floor, with the fender liner actually covering them. The instructions tell you that you can either lift the liner if you need to access the triggers or cut a small hole and gain access. I cut out a small hole with a utility knife, but I was afraid that water would seep through the hole onto the carpet. I was wrong. Water has never penetrated the carpet through this hole. [see lower left side of driver's side upholstery] The carpet has never been exposed to water. One day we went to an apple orchard, came back with muddy boots, and I didn't care even when everyone went crazy thinking they were going to wreck my car. If I didn't have earplugs I might have! But the lining easily traps dirt, grime and water. And the winter of 2013-2014 in New York was terrible, but my car couldn't tell the story. Liners caught snow, rain, sleet, and that caustic road salt. All without fading, cracking or anything like that. And if, like me, you love a clean car, you'll love the fact that these guys can be wiped clean or taken out and washed as advertised. The price was something that initially made me resent the buyer, but I expect they protect the car so well that I'll recover a little more when bargaining.
