I needed something to help my mother who has leg problems and uses a walker to get into my SUV. She needed a nice, strong, LARGE platform to stand on and then turn around and climb into the passenger seat. Everything I could find to help the elderly was too small and flimsy, and then I found this! Okay, it's big and heavy even when folded, but I have room for it behind the seat. For me, out of shape, it's a bit tiring to get it out, spread it out, put it on, then pick it up, fold it back up, and put it back in the car. But every time I do, I'm thankful for a little exercise that keeps me from aging with the same problems my mom has. When I drive my mom to the doctor's appointment, between the and the Auto Cane (check it out, honestly, it's a magical device), we get her in and out of the car with ease, drawing a lot of attention from them themselves who have problems and helped his people get on and off. The textured surface picks up some dirt but also provides an exceptionally safe surface for mom. The height is perfect! The only thing that bothers me are the little rubber feet. By the time I noticed they slipped a little with each use, I had already lost one. Hey seller, can I just get a small rubber foot? Overall very happy with this purchase.
