Review on TIMEMORE 2020 Espresso Coffee Scales, Digital Kitchen Scales with Auto Timing, 2000 Grams, Black by Michael Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great scale and steal at this price

Last year I bought an Acaia Pearl S scale. So I don't care about Bluetooth and smart features on the scale. When I received this Timemore B22 scale I pulled out some calibration weights to check accuracy. I weighed 200 grams, 100, 50 and 5. Then I compared the weight to Akaya. At one weight these two scales were the same and at all other weights the difference was 1/10th of a gram. The speed seemed about the same to me. These scales load very quickly and fix the weight quickly. It's a bit smaller than the Acaia, but I can easily put my carafe on it and still have plenty of space. If I had to do it again I would take 2 Timemore B22's not one and an Acaia Pearl S. That's about 1/3 the price of a Pearl S and half the price of a Pearl. If all you want is speed, weight and timing then this is the best you can get. Buy it. UPDATE: I had an issue with this scale last night and the readings were a little off and it wasn't recording the weight. I had to pull the Acaia to gain weight well. I ended up turning the Timemore off for a while and then turning it back on and weighing it on both scales. It's back to normal within 1 or 2 tenths of a gram (over or under) of the Acaia measurement. So if this takes effect, try restarting your computer.
