These orthopedic shoes look and feel very good. The healing support and closed toe is just perfect for my son who loves kicking things. Remember this is leather and will scratch very quickly. Personally, this didn't bother me too much as long as my baby's legs felt comfortable and protected. They are a bit narrower and would probably go a size up than the open toes I bought for this brand, great shoes nonetheless! Received a size 8 (Euro size shows 23 on shoes) for a boy 2 years 10 months.
