Review on Efficient and Powerful: Amaze-Heater MAXI 600-Watt Electric Convection Room Heater by Joseph Marquez

I bought this heater to heat my basement bedroom. There is an air duct in the room but it stayed around 60° when the thermostat was set at 70° above. I saw a lot of people complaining about the smell so I tried it out for about 2 days before sticking it on my wall. Yes, it stunk. This bothered my wife more than me and maybe more than I care to admit because I wanted it to work for us so badly. I saw someone else cleaning the device. So after running it for 2 days, I unplugged it, let it cool down and cleaned it with a household cleaner. It helped a little but the smell stayed. About a day later I took a closer look and saw that there was a 1/4 inch thick piece of rubber over the logo that was peeling front to bottom. I removed it and found that the problem is there. You are joking! Was it their need to put their logo on the device that caused the smell and all the complaints from all these people? Come on Amaze, maybe you should test your own product. Now that the rubber logo is gone, no smell, great heat and no problem! Maybe they don't heat up as much on Junior units, and that's not a problem. This one definitely has it. Thing gets hot. It will burn you, but not with a quick touch like an iron or stove. In fact, if you put your finger on it for 5 seconds, it's hot as hell! I have a child in the house, it doesn't bother me much, as it is rarely in this room and has to touch it for a long time to hurt it. I would love to give this product 5 stars but how stupid can they be not to test this product with their logo! The room remains 68 ° on the coldest nights, no smell (now SMS), pleasant even radiant heat.
