The picture doesn't really show what they really are - the picture gives the impression that they fit on a piece of glass and that the part that attaches to the bottom of the glass is the same as that on the top. Glass. But actually the top and bottom of this piece are different - one side is deeper - about 1 inch wide and the other side is about 1/2 inch deep. It turns out that the wider side is at the top of the furniture corner and the narrower side is at the bottom. It's hard to explain without seeing it. This would work well for the corner edges of my open fire's glass lid if it were as shown in the picture, but it isn't. I would give 5 if everything was like the picture.
