I was hoping to get a mic that didn't make a loud click in my recordings when I hit the mute button, but no luck here. Also, the mic sounds like I'm far away, even if I'm just a foot or two away. Update: The company sent me a new model of this microphone, USB instead of 3.5mm jack. The sound is significantly cleaner and louder than the previous model. Now I love this mic. The mute switch is no longer a mute switch, but an on-off switch. When you click it, it connects or disconnects the device from your computer. It doesn't quite meet my needs, but it's a big improvement over the previous model. I would also like to commend the excellent customer service.
