Review on πŸ”‘ KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Key Shell Case Cover Repair for Honda Civic CR-V CR-Z Fit Odyssey + Screwdriver (Pack of 2) by Daniel Reeder

You may need to file the key blade to fit.

This case has the potential to save you a lot of money when replacing keys. I deducted a star because there were no instructions. I'll give you a few instructions: 1. Break the old key blade out of the old key body. Remove any remaining old plastic until the key blade shines.2. Insert the key blade into the new housing. It is very tight, so you may have to push it into the vagina with a screwdriver. Be careful not to crush the case or prick your hand!3. Examine the hole in the scabbard and make sure the hole in the blade is centered. If it doesn't, you'll need to file down the T-shaped portion of the blade where it meets the scabbard until it goes in far enough to be centered. With the hole in the blade centered, insert the blade and sheath into the back half of the body. There is a slot to slide it into, so start back a little and then slide the assembly forward.5. Place the electronics module in the front half of the case, and then connect the back and front halves together.6. Use the included metal/plastic screw (NOT the old machine screw) to hold the two halves together. A NOTICE. In these years, there are two types of key cases. One has the RFID chip outside the button module and the other has it inside the button module. This shell ONLY works with the button module that contains the chip. Open your old shell and compare it to the picture of the new shell. Hope this helps someone save some time experimenting.
