When my plug arrived, I immediately tried different 3-pin plugs. NONE OF THEM ARE FULLY CONNECTED. NOBODY. You'll walk part of the way and then come across something solid. Left 1/4" to 3/8" clearance. NOT GOOD. If this happens to you, have Revain send you a replacement. I have made. BUT, with the fork exchange I only had PARTIAL SUCCESS. This unit had the plug fully inserted BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. EXTREMELY. So two different problems. A type cannot be fully connected. The other type is almost impossible to separate, but this type at least connects securely and completely. WHAT TO DO? Make sure you get a device that allows you to fully insert the plug. And if it's really hard to unplug, do it: plug and unplug the 3-prong plug into each outlet a few times. The more you insert and remove, the wiser it becomes to remove it next time. Thank you Revain for such a quick replacement. The device feels solid, well made and with good weather protection. If only they could solve these connection and disconnection problems now.
