It worked on a Shimano crank, it wasn't fun at all. The damn thing was very tight! I figured I could use the orange socket wrench, but it's not that useful. I used a 9/16 socket wrench to knock the crank out. I mean it makes sense to see how small and flimsy that wrench they gave me is. Luckily the main tool I needed was the crank part. I laid the bike frame on my slippers and then smashed it with a 9/16 wrench, which thankfully didn't damage the socket tool. Both Shimano cranks took a few hits from my soft hammer. I almost gave up until I saw him slowly weakening. Unfortunately I don't have a blade that attaches to the top of a removable drive, which would make things easier? I want it to be just a standard square socket wrench if I don't understand why it isn't. It would be easier to attach a socket wrench to it. Anyway, it worked on my Shimano crankset, it's a pain in the ass. Don't rely on a wrench, use something longer and stronger, you'll just get frustrated with the short lever you're stuck in.
