The Tivo button isn't deep enough and tends to wear down to a point below the surface of the remote. This is usually the reason for replacing the remote every few years or so depending on usage. Another issue is that the battery cover tends to pop out with the batteries if the item is dropped. Obviously this is not for the intended use. However, remote controls tend to fall off, so a better design for this cover would be ideal.
