I've been doing my own manicure without a dust system for 9 months. It was dusty and dirty. I was always covered in nail dust and had to shower every time after I did my nails. I decided enough was enough and ordered. It worked better than I imagined. It picks up most of my nail dust and keeps me and my workspace 90% cleaner. It's a bit noisy (as loud as a bathroom fan or a hair dryer on low), but it's definitely worth the tradeoff to me. I work directly on the dust box and the fan sucks nail dust into the filter and stops it from flying around. The suction power is just enough to pick up nail dust. I've only used this once so far, but it makes a huge difference to me with how clean it keeps me and my workspace. I will use it every time I get a manicure.
