Always swim with a snorkel - this one is the best: I've tried several brands of snorkels and put about 150-200 miles a year on each one. Wacool 1) thanks to the unilateral hole in the top, completely solves the problem of water slipping on the snorkel when you pull/roll freestyle, 2) the unilateral hole does not interfere with deep breathing at all, 3) the flexible snorkel is adjustable to any distance (between forehead and mouth) ) (I'm 5'1" - many are too big for me) 4) thanks to the flexible tubing there is no slipping/adjusting of the clip that secures my forehead to my mouth and 4) it's beautifully made with a shiny soft rubber finish - mine is black - like my Cressi mask I wear it with.
