I gave this vaporizer two test runs after spending a lot of time sifting. many similar items on amazon.com. I wanted it to work well. I needed this for work. But. Oh. It didn't live up to expectations. After filling it with distilled water to the appropriate peak and using it fully upright, the water would still splash water on my clothes, expanding the creases, dampening the clothes when necessary, and prolonging the time. I've used a squirt and a half of water to smooth out the creases in a freshly unwrapped shirt, with little success. I've tried it on other fabrics and in other states and the cloakroom lady still said it must be the steamer who pulled out another portable steamer before and did it. As for the automatic shut-off mechanism; As a test, I left the device connected to the network after trying to use it. After 2 hours the heating element was still on and felt warm. The company's customer service representative asked me to leave a review. I admit the service was good and they offered me a new one
