I have wanted to do tap dancing since I was 5 years old and saw Fred Astaire on screen for the first time. I remember watching him move in fascination and couldn't look away. I was convinced he could fly and called him a flying man. Since then I've fallen in love with dancing. I finally had the opportunity to learn tap dancing. Couldn't wait to buy tap shoes. I found them and as a beginner I understood why not. They are very comfortable. After reading the size chart and other reviews, I measured my foot and decided to go half a size up. I have flat, wide feet. I'm glad they fit perfectly. The sound is good. Very happy with it. I can't wait to start typing. I hope to become good enough to incorporate my other dance techniques into tap like the man who inspired me, the flying man, Fred Astaire.
