I was skeptical about the purchase, mainly because of the high price. However, it made my truck look completely different. I have followed the installation instructions and when I change the settings I do it on a complete stop and so far no problems and no check engine lights. It really wakes up my truck. I have a 2016 Silverado z71 1500 double cab and now it drives like my dad's old Silverado from the early 90's with a physical throttle cable. instant power. I love how you can tune the Pedal Commander to the exact specs you like, and if for whatever reason you want to change it, you can do that. I personally like the sport mode. The Sport+ has me chirping tires like nothing happened, and around town it's just a little more responsive than the stock. It's nice too, because once you've found your favorite setting, it stays at that setting until you change it, even after turning the car on/off. Makes me love driving my truck. I have a 200lb ranch spare arm and with the rudder pedal it drives like it's not there. I love it so far. I will update if anything changes.
