Review on Tamron A16NII 17 50Mm Aspherical International by Stanislaw Gluszek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I pair this lens with a Sigma 18-250 that has a stub extension and use it on a Nikon D90. Naturally, the autofocus on a Tamron is more sluggish. However, using aperture 2.8 in conjunction with the stub does wonders! The very latest! After taking several classes in photography, I was able to recognize that the lens has a significant back focus. Adjustment is only feasible in Hong Kong (I live in St. Petersburg), so I will send it with a friend who lives there for adjustment, and then I will let you know whether or not it was successful. Body - NikonD90 Carcass The following is a continuation of a story: It was explained to me in Hong Kong that changing the firmware on the Tamron is how the correction is made. I'm sorry, but there are only three of them on this lens, and I have the last one; the customer service staff has already responded to my question. It includes a manual autofocus setting for various lenses, and the carcass remembers each lens so that it does not need to be adjusted each time. By the time he came back to me, I had already switched the carcass from the D90 to the D7000. Set up. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I can say that the lens is as sharp as diarrhea. I'm overjoyed!

Pros
  • The lens is fantastic in quality. Aperture 2.8 with a stabilizer—it's not much, but it's something! Even when there is not a lot of light, you can still get clear shots with your hands!
