It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

Below are some advantages: Lightweight, lightning-quick, and equipped with an optical stabilizer and ultrasonic motor. There is a lock for the zoom feature. In comparison to Canon, Nikon, and Sigma lenses that I've used in the past, the zoom ring travel on this lens is more restricted. When the lens hood is coiled into the transport position, manually focusing the lens is an incredibly inconvenient process.

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

When I "drooled" over another model from a different manufacturer, I never would have imagined that I would end up purchasing this specific lens. Additionally, I had no intention of being given an order like a "pig in a poke" at the pickup location. The times, though, are.

Pros
  • 1. The lens' pricing is possibly its greatest perk. On March 10, 2022, when nearly all online vendors were in pandemonium and there were absurd exchange rates, I placed my own order for it for 28K. 2. Aperture 2.8 throughout the board. 3. Using the Nikon D3300 crop corpse (24-megapixel Sony matrix) in combination with Camera Raw and Photoshop, I was able to create very "juicy," almost poisonous, colors. 4. The manufacturer's commitment to its customers: We discovered that although though the lens was made in China, it was lawfully imported until 2022 after registering for an extended 5-year guarantee on the Tamron official website. Free lens adjusting for my carcass was another big bonus in Hong Kong. My "tamron" was fixed by Plekhanov (office service center) by updating the firmware to provide back focus.
Cons
  • The "strange" operation of the stabilizer, the unpleasant "buzz" of the not the fastest autofocus motor, the movement of the focus ring in the "wrong" direction, etc., are just a few of the drawbacks that have already been extensively discussed above. A bunch of a new Nikon D3300 crop carcass with a 24-megapixel Sony sensor for 14K and a new aperture glass Tamron 17-50 for 28K, which fully reveals this matrix, is the most in terms of price-quality for me personally in 2022, a snotty lover who is not burdened with needing to engage in photo commerce.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

The fact that a hood is included in the package is both practical and time saving because it eliminates the need to shop around for one. In general, the lens is compatible with all cameras and takes photographs that are superior to those taken with the regular lens.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

The lens is versatile enough to serve as a staff member for photographing in regular situations. An excellent replacement for the lenses that come with a kit that is reasonably priced. It is recommended that you purchase the Nikkor 17-55 if you have the funds available. Better still, go full frame. Has pros: 1) Aperture 2) Image stabilizer 3) A satisfactory degree of sharpness emanating from an open hole 4) The crop has a helpful variety of focus lengths to choose from. Got cons: 1) When…

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

This Tamron 2.8 was my trade-in for the Nikkor 18-105. Overall, this lens gives off excellent, sharp images at 2.8. The image is neat and appealing. I particularly like Ka Razor's studio photography, especially at aperture 5.6. I won't talk about the hares because XA claims I never kept an eye out for them and I didn't catch any. The focus prowls in the dark for reporting, slowly. In summary, the lens is excellent for the price. It makes me think of the Nikkor 24-85 (2.8-4) lens. The tight zoom

Pros
  • excellent, bright, and crisp image
Cons
  • narrow zoom ring

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

I pair this lens with a Sigma 18-250 that has a stub extension and use it on a Nikon D90. Naturally, the autofocus on a Tamron is more sluggish. However, using aperture 2.8 in conjunction with the stub does wonders! The very latest! After taking several classes in photography, I was able to recognize that the lens has a significant back focus. Adjustment is only feasible in Hong Kong (I live in St. Petersburg), so I will send it with a friend who lives there for adjustment, and then I will let…

Pros
  • The lens is fantastic in quality. Aperture 2.8 with a stabilizer—it's not much, but it's something! Even when there is not a lot of light, you can still get clear shots with your hands!

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

When I tested these three lenses for front and back focus on a target that is often found on the internet, I discovered that the autofocus function worked in some unusual way on all three lenses, despite coming from three separate batches. I'll explain the circumstances under which I made the observation below. Nikon D7000, aim 50-60 cm. The aperture was set to its widest possible opening, and the focal length was set to 50. I bring an object in the distance out of focus, then I center my…

Pros
  • Excellent value for the purchase price. There is a list here in front of me that contains all of the benefits. I share their viewpoint.
Cons
  • The drawbacks are also shown to me in nearly their whole in this context. I can vouch for the fact that a good number of misaligned lenses are currently available for purchase. Only once out of three times did I get a normal one. There is typically a rear focus ranging from 1 to 2 centimeters. According to the personnel at the store, it appears that adjustment will cost seven hundred dollars in the official service; nevertheless, I really do not want to provide a new lens for adjustment! Odd behavior from autofocus, check the remark for more details.

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

It exceeded my expectations by a factor of two and I took it together with the Nikon D7000. I got the exact image I was looking for from the cadaver. The clarity and resolution of the native Nikkor 18-105 are not even close. A good aperture enables high-quality photography in practically any circumstance. Autofocus is foolish, certainly, but what are you expecting for your money? And in most circumstances, it's not a deal-breaker for me. Of course, a substantial majority of marriages lack…

Pros
  • Sharp, adaptable, best price-quality ratio, satisfyingly serious weight, f=2.8.
Cons
  • Design problems and vulnerabilities were discovered based on the results of more than three years of use: 1. The zoom ring was initially snug, but with time the rubber lining peeled off and the ring now hangs loosely on the lens. This isn't important for shooting, but it speaks to the construction quality and materials. 2. Jerking, stub creaking, and other issues with it (see page 3). 3. The device is overly sensitive to mechanical and shock effects; only a minor body blow was enough to cause the stub to become stuck in the ON position. Although the approach is accurate and should be handled carefully, in this instance it is practically required to wrap the lens in a parallon. 3. A sizable proportion of front- and back-focus devices. filters that are reasonably priced for a glass diameter.

I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

On the carcass of the D7000, I used it as a reportage lens. If certain details are taken into mind while dealing with it, it performs extremely well in its assigned role. 1. If you want your photo to be crisp, you should not open the aperture more than 3.5 stops. It is preferable to cover up to 5.6. However, if you need to arrange multiple persons in the frame, more than 5.6, you should not utilize it for reporting purposes because it has a lower framing ratio. 2. The stabilizer devours…

Pros
  • Convenient focus. Aperture. Stabilizer. Given its characteristics, this is a pretty strong photo.
Cons
  • Gluttonous stabilizer. Autofocus that is both sluggish and noisy. Due to the delicate nature of the design, it is best to avoid dropping it.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

An excellent optic for capturing its qualities. The only thing I'd change is to have faster autofocus like a sigma equivalent. But the saddest part is that marriage rates are so high. The first one I bought was not tested for depth of field or front to back focus. that I deeply regret having done. I gave it to the service, and they confirmed that it has excellent back focus. I tried to return it for a different one, but it wasn't accepted. Only one of the four copies I examined in the shop…

Pros
  • Aperture, Construction, Good Staffer, Acceptable Bokeh, Hood Provided, Focus and Zoom Rings that are Easily Adjusted
Cons
  • Cons: - Autofocus is slow (but faster than in most lenses) - The stabilizer makes a lot of noise Bad production quality control (discussed in the comments)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

On the D90, where I work, I was able to afford it. Since I won't be using it myself, all I can do is express my initial reactions. At a pleasing 2.8, the focus is razor-sharp. Even though a stabilizer isn't strictly necessary at that focal length, I feel much better about the $1420 I spent on a lens with a 14200 stub. The price is noted as $22022, which is a large sum. If you had to choose between a sigma, a tokina, and a tamron 17-50 2.8, go with the tamron, but handle it with care.

Pros
  • clarity and brightness. As far as the tamron's zoom allows. The tamron has the most exquisite resolution and patterning among lenses in this focal range (17-50 or thereabouts). If you're comparing to Nikkor, you're wasting your time and money.
Cons
  • You must make a decision. In one store, I made four consecutive lens purchases. The issue can be fixed with an adjustment, but it's best to get rid of it immediately, especially if the lens doesn't reside in Hong Kong.

three lenses were tried out in the store. The other two turned out to be fairly good, while one had a front focus. A pretty good lens for $16,000 (cost of the version without VC). 20222 rubles. Since the absence of a stub is not at all important at focal lengths of 17–50mm, I don't think it makes sense to get an image stabilized version. More like a marketing gimmick from Tamron. You can purchase a Tokina AT-X 165 f/2.8 Pro DX for the same amount of money. The Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 is…

Pros
  • At f/4 and higher, the crispness is really good. including all the way around the frame's corners. Although it "cools" a little on D300s with automatic BB, the color rendition is not too problematic. Wide angles don't appear to have much vignetting or distortion (for a third-party product, of course). very small and light (important for thin young women). I've only worked with the Nikon stabilization system (VR) so I can only compare the Tamron stabilization system (VC) to that. The only difference I noticed was just a tiny bit more "twitchy" work from the Tamron stub.
Cons
  • bad construction. The hood ought to be handled similarly to a crystal vase. Strong chromatic aberrations are present in the 17–20 focal length range. dislikes backlight, yet it should be noted that all lenses in this price range dislike backlight. The price in 2022 lost its appeal after adding a stub to the lens. Autofocus can occasionally blur.

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Approximately two and a half years ago, I began using this lens. I think it's fair to say that this was an extremely fruitful acquisition. He is almost ideal in every way. The one area in which it falls short of its equivalent from Sigma is in terms of how sharp it is at the long end when the aperture is wide open. This is not a deal breaker for me because I only use the lens for portraits at a focal length of 50 millimeters and an aperture of 2.8, and in those situations, having an excessive…

Pros
  • + Excellent sharpness in the middle, and not too shabby on the edges either + The most insignificant member of the distortion class (distortion). Absent in every single one of the measurements taken between 24 and 50 mm. + chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum. To tell you the truth, you don't even need to repair them in RAW because you can't see them even after you do. + Aperture of 2.8 + The stabilizer is truly enchanted + Good coatings (resistance to light)
Cons
  • - At 35mm to 50mm focal lengths, the image is not as sharp as I would want when the aperture is wide open. - An annoyingly loud autofocus and stabilizer system

Nice price, good quality.

Typical glass for daily use permits for my 24MP d7100. Both excellent sharpness and a lack of pattern define this lens. That instance, after removing a razor-sharp shot that was perfectly placed and deleted, I realize that something is lacking; it's like watching a movie without popcorn. He disguised himself as a staff member for fifty dollars rather than the old, dead Tamron. Constant overexposure in bright conditions; mode or freeze is unimportant; there is always no sky. I initially believed

Pros
  • sharp employee stub Price In relation to cost, af at dusk is rather quick and precise. You can use the 2022 mode to shoot videos with an out-of-focus background.
Cons
  • It's not in the image. a close zoom ring Battery feeds Stub like a horse. continual relighting! The exposure must be decreased by -1.

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

You cannot purchase a regular Nikon standard zoom for that amount of money since it would smell of such an aperture. What about an analog camera with similar specs? Between this "Tampon" and Tokina, a decision was made. Tokina was impressed by the metal structure and alarmed by its sharpness and spooky behavior in the backlight. The tampon, while having more balanced qualities, will not last as long. Additionally, the vibration compensation is not an added feature. I'm just getting started, so

Pros
  • Price, weight, size, and aperture. overall quality balance.
Cons
  • Sharpness loss at the edges of the frame is significant, there is mild chromate in challenging areas, slow focusing, geometric distortion, glare, weak lens hood, and plastic construction. You must make a wise decision.
