Review on 🔌 Arducam CSI to HDMI Cable Extension Module with 15pin 60mm FPC Cable for Enhanced Raspberry Pi Camera Performance (Pack of 2, 1 Set) by Billy Mariner

I just received the CSI HDMI cable extension module and got it working with my new Pi 12MP HQ camera and the video quality is great. I made a 1/8" thick polystyrene mounting plate the same size as the Pi 12 mp HQ camera board (38mm x 38mm) and capped it with 6mm spacers and a 2.5mm x 10 mm installed on the back of the camera board. Screws. Before attaching the mounting plate to the camera board, I drilled a hole pattern to match the hole pattern of the camera expansion module and mounted the camera expansion module on the mounting plate. Unfortunately, the supplied CSI cable was too short to connect to the CSI port on the camera so I replaced it with a 6" CSI cable which is a bit long but works. I may buy a 4" CSI cable in the future to balance some of the game In the future, Arducam may wish to include an optional mounting plate to match the Pi HQ O&M's 12MP camera, along with 6mm stand and mounting plate.Then the expansion module can be fitted in the matching hole pattern mounted on the mounting plate. Update: I just bought a second CSI to HDMI cable extension module and it works just as well as the first!
