Review on Enhance Your WiFi Signal with the NextG πŸ“Ά USB-Yagi Plug & Play 11N Long Range WiFi Antenna 2200mW by Luis Blaschko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Absolutely fantastic!

I looked at the reviews before I got this to see if it was even worth doing and there weren't many pictures so I'll fix that. It is compatible with Kali Linux (monitor and injection), but it may take a second to turn on, but not long. (Less than 20 seconds for me.) Range I'm honestly not sure of the exact distance BUT there are sooo many new wifi signals out now. THIS IS FIXED! Please keep this in mind. The mini tripod looks odd at first, but once you tinker with it you'll really understand how to get the most out of it, and it's a pretty decent tripod for the job. There is a rotating part that moves it up and down and this affects how far the tripod legs can extend. Play around here too and see how it works best for your style. It's a pretty decent amount less than I expected, but it certainly works great! In general: Compatible with Windows and Linux (Plug and Play), no driver diskette needs to be installed. Great compact size (fits in my backpack in a smaller part). I actually think the tripod is great. I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews but this is actually a good antenna tripod! Reach and communication are excellent. In a crowded area, my regular TL-722n WiFi dongle can (I think) dial in a normal amount, maybe a little better or a little worse than my laptop's WiFi card. This antenna is like steroids compared to this one. But it's directional, and if you're in a small area with fewer houses around you, don't expect too much. I could only see 50 in one direction, while scanning and rotating got over 80. Nice to hold in hand and looks cool, like really cool. he's still pretty fat. If something happens and it doesn't work in the future, or if there's anything negative or needs to be added, I'll update. But i love it! Personal note: It seems a bit overpriced, maybe 80 at most, but it's definitely paid for itself.
