I needed something on the side windows of my minivan to give my kids some shade. I used to tint regularly and it was PITA. I also wanted a less permanent solution. In Japan I've seen good quality static tape that was really clear, but this brand was pretty much the only static tape I could find in the US. What I liked: It is easier to work with than with a conventional tinted film. easily removed if you mess up (which I did the first time). It provides shade. Dislikes: It's translucent rather than transparent. I would definitely not put it on windows that I need to look out of while driving (driver/passenger/rear window). The film is thicker and harder to cut at the corners. Bubbles when applied. (I wasn't too concerned about that as I didn't care about the outside and wasn't worried about seeing through clearly (rear quarter windows).
