Review on ASUS ROG Claymore II ROG RX RED Wireless Gaming Keyboard Black Russian by Mateusz Jamroz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I feel the need to state right off the bat that the keyboard, in general, made a favorable impact on me, and as a result, it is currently tied for first position in my list with the SS Apex Pro. The travel with the key is extremely cool. The first few millimeters of movement are met with a very slight amount of resistance; there is no audible click; beyond that, the key appears to press itself, so to speak. The actuation point of the ROG RX Red switches, which have a hollow quad base (there is also a Blue version, which is louder and requires more force there), is approximately 1.5 millimeters. This is the benefit of these switches. The backlight's consistency is something more that I'd want to credit to the switches for having done well. All switches of the Cherry type have the same design problem, which manifests itself as uneven illumination and occurs when the top illuminates the bottom. There is no such issue in this location. I observed a comparable level of performance in the switches manufactured by Logitech - Romer G. But over there, they were very robotic and constantly clicked their heels together; I really hope that this won't happen here. At every stage, the materials are carried out to the very finest standard. I will talk about the software in a separate section. Armory Crate's software has undergone a significant overhaul, and as a result, it is now pretty functional, despite the fact that it is not perfect. However, despite the fact that this does not refer to this keyboard in particular but rather to other devices made by the company, this software is still useful in that it brings the ecosystem together. The problem of stability has not yet been handled, and the program will occasionally fail to boot at the beginning of work; other times, it will either stop seeing a device or update the firmware of devices many times. Additionally, the problem of stability has not yet been resolved. What I didn't like was how charging is implemented: for this price, considering the luxury character of the product, it would be able to make it magnetic, or even better data-magnetic, when the connection is established through a 24-pin connector with the capacity to transport data. This would have been an improvement over the current setup. I spent five hundred dollars on a data connector from AliExpress. In this situation, everything can be summed up in two words: stuck or pulled out. At the very least, USB Type-C. In addition, with a claim to premium, I want to point out that there is no protection against water or dust. The product line for the brand includes a TUF series, which has one; competitors have also started to produce similar alternatives, the same SS, but there are no lenses available in this configuration that do not have protection. As a direct consequence of this, the Asus piggy bank currently has five with a minus sign.

Pros
  • 1. Soft travel keys 2. the ability to customize. The ability to switch NUM is an excellent suggestion. 3. Software and available personalization options 4. the standard of the components 5. The consistency of the lighting. The Cyrillic alphabet was not obscured in this location, and its characters are just as legible as those of the Latin alphabet.
Cons
  • 1. NUM does not work separately. 2. Software, and the reliability of the work 3. The establishment of fee structures 4. The absence of any protection
