I bought this dehumidifier for my basement. My house stays damp because it was built low to the ground (old house). I've always struggled with moisture in the house and decided to give it a try. I absolutely can't believe how well this works! All my moisture problems disappeared after 7 days of work! I set it to keep the humidity below the house at 50% and now the indoor humidity stays at around 40%. Before this machine it was about 70%! IMPRESSIVE! I was concerned it would be very noisy as it is designed for so many square feet, but it is incredibly quiet! It's also only 900 watts, making it very inexpensive to run all the time. And I can't hear him working in the house at all. I am very happy with this machine and how great it works! I am more than satisfied with this dehumidifier! Buy it! You will not regret it!
