This is a nicely made sturdy tape measure but if it pulls back be careful! The spring (at least on the one I have) is wound very tightly and rewinds the tape with such force that it knocks out of my hand and hits my index finger if I don't slowly rewind the tape. May be suitable for construction work. (with someone wearing work gloves), but maybe not so good for general use in Light Office. I even find it a bit dangerous.
