I recently upgraded my graphics card (GeForce RTX 2070 Super if you're interested) and quickly found that I was only connecting my HDMI monitor and not my old DVI monitor can -D The new card has no DVI inputs, only one HDMI, 3 DisplayPort and USB-C. Enter this little guy. Initially I had a big problem with the screen flickering (mostly off) until I matched the refresh rate to the HDMI monitor and voila! Works like a champ. There's still a very rare brief flicker (which is why I docked the star), but it saved me the expense of buying a new monitor (I just convinced my wife I needed one). Maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all. Seriously, excellent value for money. Just make sure if you're using multiple monitors, set the same refresh rate for both.
