I am very impressed with the 1200w polisher I bought. I bought more for my boat but have only used it for the car so far. It worked great and I think it will work better than I expected on my boat. It's very durable and well built and the variable speed from 1-6 is great. Not sure I'll ever use higher settings as it spins. The only negative is that the instructions had a few typos and misspelled words, but it's easy enough to figure out. Before that I had a random orbit sander for cars. He swayed and turned around. It wasn't as strong as this one and was too cumbersome to use on most auto body panels.
