I needed something to hold my window curtain together and I didn't want to skimp on a flimsy rod that would bend under the weight of the curtains and cause everything to close collapse, and luckily the HOSKO set fits my criteria perfectly. These bars are made from durable metal that cannot be bent by hand and comes with all the necessary hardware to mount it to the wall. Plus, these embellishments at the end make the stem stand out and it's nice to look at too. As someone with very little experience with home repairs and only a drill press, I found no difficulty assembling the bar; By the way, this is one of the easiest projects I've ever done. The tape that comes with the accessory is also a great addition and very useful and can give you a temporary if not permanent attachment to the brace if you didn't drill the screw properly. Overall I'm glad I made the purchase and now I have a suitable rod to hold the curtain to my window. My only advice is to consider the dimensions as these are building poles and not telescopic poles. So while you can add more poles to mix and match lengths, you can't customize the pole to your liking. preferred size; says if you want the length a little less or more. But if you are happy with the size I would buy it.
