In case you don't know yet: Wooden cutting boards have to be oiled from time to time and are not dishwasher-safe. This special wooden cutting board requires no more or less maintenance than any other wooden cutting board. The seller has not bothered to describe the "maintenance" issues with this board as these should already be understood as this is a wooden cutting board. However, this is a very good cutting board and unlike many others. others, it is well made before shipping. Due to the oil/wax treatment, water will drain right out of the box. Like any cutting board made from natural wood, it requires some maintenance. It cannot be soaked, but it CAN be washed, the more oiled/waxed it is the easier it is to clean. and beautifully done. The stand for it also feels comfortable.
