Bought two of these to send signals to a cable box in another room. I have a TV on my back porch (30ft HDMI cable) and a TV in the bedroom (50ft HDMI cable) and they pass the signal to the cable box with no problem. The receiving end seems to have a signal range limit of about 12-15 feet. I put new batteries in my remote control but the range stayed the same. Works great and saved me from having to pay for extra cable boxes. Also great for viewing and controlling DVR recordings from remote TVs.
