Review on Canon EOS 600D Kit EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, black by Adam Fido ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

A beginner's dream camera because it first produces so many errors. The sharpness is adequate, but the truncated matrix makes it clear that sometimes you don't have enough room to move back to get what you need in the frame. I immediately purchased a 50mm 1.8 lens for myself. Moreover, 16mm on a 5D2 captures FAR MORE than 18mm on a 600D when photographing landscapes. From the first pictures I took with this camera, I was smitten. I won't ever totally give it up in favor of FF! It will continue to be a part of the 5d2 in the future!

Pros
  • * Dimensions (for me! - The buttons are all located under the right fingers and fit properly in the hand without slipping (not like 1100D) * reduced matrix (yeah, on the one hand this is a positive) - easier with zoom lenses than on FF * Swivel screen (I use it solely when viewing images already shot), which so far has only came in handy once (which is amazing) whale lens * (Yes, this is a plus for me because it produces extremely intriguing photographs in good lighting.) There are a ton of "glasses" available for relatively little money thanks to *Canon.
Cons
  • * truncated matrix (after all, now for portraits there is a great desire to buy 5d2 for yourself) * unlike 60D, a weak battery - with the display turned off up to 650-700 shots (at 60D up to 1200), in lifeview mode - up to 250 shots. That are really the only flaws
