First off, the magnet assembly is a brilliant design. It was surprisingly easy to install and I was really impressed with how perfectly the magnets aligned. For such a "cheap" product, I expected them to be at least a little closer together or further apart than the switch plate screws. When I started putting the lid on, it practically snapped into place and was within a half or quarter inch of the plate. The magnets are the perfect strength for the job: they're weak enough to pull off when you're ready to pull them off with ease, but strong enough that accidentally touching the switch with your hand out of habit won't cause it to fall off. and strong enough to be applied effortlessly. My fiance recently installed a lot of Philips Hue smart bulbs around the house and it was fun and handy being able to automate our lights and control them with voice commands - the only problem is the light switch stays on all the time and Turning off also defaults to our saved brightness settings. We both accidentally flipped light switches on our home network and I stumbled across these nifty covers and ordered a pair. They don't look out of place on the existing panels and were very effective in preventing accidental presses of switches we wanted to leave on. Will definitely be ordering more as we have just moved to a new location and my fiancé is constantly flipping the garbage chute switch which is next to one of the kitchen counters. It's really convenient!
